Pam now offers accessible online counseling appointments. You can book online appointments for the time that works for you. Online appointments are available for couples counseling, individual therapy, family and group sessions, and clinical consultations.
Online counseling refers to sessions offered over the Internet. Clients speak to Pam from the comfort of their own home, office or other remote location. Online counseling facilitates getting help in a confidential and convenient manner.
Online appointments may meet your needs if you:
- Do not have the time to get to and from our office
- Are located too far for face to face visits
- Are unable to visit the therapist’s office for any reason
- Need to schedule sessions at a time when face to face appointments are not feasible
- Find it is difficult to get to our office because of any constraint
Online appointments require that you have an internet connection. Video counseling can be done using HIPAA compliant Zoom and other HIPAA compliant video counseling platforms. Phone sessions are available.
Online Therapy offers a chance to connect with your therapist in a safe and private online environment. It’s as professional and as helpful as in-person settings.
Online appointments are not suited as a form of crisis intervention.
Online therapy is not appropriate for people with thoughts of suicide or homicide. Help is available at the National Suicide Hotline at 1-800-SUICIDE (1-800-784-2433) or 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or call 911 for emergency local assistance.
